I just finished a fabulous book by Rick Ruben. The Creative Act: A Way Of Being.
I love quotes and I will have some of Rubens words to share. He explains how there are stages to the creative process. Be willing to play and experiment. Keener observations. Exploration. Creativity is in everyone. Painters, musicians, writers, chefs, craftsman, floral designers, home decorators and the list goes on. Everyone is creative. It's not talent but hard work, long hours, being passionate about your medium; dedication and determination that makes one successful in their chosen genre. Sucess is not measured in financial rewards but personal satisfaction of making something beautiful and rewarding. Here are a couple of Rick Ruben quotes:
